Job Title: Handyman / Maintenance Technician
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Pay Rate: $28-$30 per hour (DOE)
Hours: PARTTIME 20-25 hours per week, with potential for full-time.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Field Service / Handyman Technician to join our team in Fort Myers, FL.
This role focuses on general maintenance, repairs, and improvements at both commercial and residential properties.
The position offers steady hours, competitive pay, and long-term growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance, repairs, and improvements at commercial and residential properties.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and minor plumbing issues.
- Conduct carpentry, painting, flooring installation or repairs, masonry work, and drywall installation/repairs.
- Maintain accurate service logs and reports.
- Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices.
- Support property managers or clients with technical expertise and problem-solving.
- Hands-on maintenance experience at the commercial and residential level, including electrical, plumbing, welding, carpentry, flooring, masonry, and drywall.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common household and commercial repair issues.
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a small team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and professional.
- Must have reliable transportation (pickup truck, van, or equivalent).
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
- $28-$30 per hour (based on experience)
