About This RoleThis job requires a DOT physical and a current DOT medical card.
Responsibilities
- Repairing, maintaining and servicing all equipment. (i.e., Bucket trucks, Line truck (Diggers), Cranes, Wire Pulling equipment, Dozers, Loaders, Backhoes, Skid Steers, Tracked Equipment, Trailers, Pick-up trucks, etc.)
- Work with hazardous tools, i.e., Welders, Torches, Grinders.
- Work around moving equipment and in constricted spaces.
- Possessing and supplying own mechanic hand tools. (diagnostic scanners company supplied along with some specialty tools)
- Field work on various jobs in and around the Mid-west.
- Maintaining and operating a company supplied service truck with crane.
- Electronically filling out work orders, ordering parts, keeping time and completing daily reports.
Non-exempt hourly role with required overtime.
- Pay range is $28 - $52 per hour, based on skill and experience level, with opportunity to grow.
This position will work from our job sites in WY, CO, SD, MN, NE, ND and all Midwest states, up to 100% of expected travel within the Central region as needed.
What You'll DoWork with supervision and support from Field supervisor, perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs, maintenance and services on all company and rental equipment.
Diagnose the source of trouble and determine the extent of necessary repairs.
Employee should keep all materials, tools and equipment in an orderly fashion and maintain a clean work area at all times.
Demonstrating safe work habits, proper care for tools and equipment, while following all safety and PPE protocols is required.
Required- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid, Active Driver's License Required.
- Possess own mechanic hand tools.
- Your knowledge and experience to help grow our team.
- 3 to 5 years Aerial unit experience, Bucket Trucks, Diggers, Cranes.
- Knowledge or Electrical Overhead Powerline Construction Equipment.
- Previous experience with Construction Equipment repair, Yellow Iron, Tracked Equipment.
- Tractor Trailer Chassis and engine experience.
- Valid, Active CDL A – Preferred.
- All of these skills can be trained or taught for the right candidate, more experience preferred.
- Looking to add high level technicians with vast experience levels all over the Mid-west, for fast growing company.
