. The role involves performing basic to advanced maintenance, new equipment installations, and troubleshooting in both shop and field environments.

What You Will Do
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair problems for a variety of pump systems, automation, and electrical equipment within the oil and gas sector (e.g., Jet Lift for artificial lift, saltwater disposal systems, fluid transfer systems powered by variable speed drives).
  • Regularly travel to remote locations and participate in on‑call rotation for the facility, as required by the business.
  • May require overnight travel to other locations outside of the base location for business support.
  • Engage directly with customers, delivering updates, insights, service, and system improvement recommendations.
  • Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and standards relevant to the oil and gas sector, maintaining a safe environment at all client sites.
  • Complete required documentation using provided processes and systems regarding service status, obstacles, and customer feedback.
  • Effectively manage and maintain company‑provided tools, equipment and vehicles, ensuring regular checks and maintenance are done timely and properly.
Pre‑Employment Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license in state of residence
  • Acceptable driving record through Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
  • Drug and alcohol test
  • Criminal background check
Minimum Qualifications
  • 1 year industry or related experience
  • Regularly and predictably attend work and be punctual, including overtime work as required to meet business needs.
  • Ability to operate independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Use a computer to communicate, create, and access data.
  • Immigration sponsorship is not offered for this role.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with or knowledge of specific pump types (Multiplex Reciprocating Plunger Pumps, Centrifugal Pumps, Horizontal Surface Pumps, Gear Pumps) is highly advantageous.
  • Robust understanding of safety regulations and protocols in the oil and gas industry.
  • Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) and Automation experience.
  • Proficiency in industry‑related software and diagnostic tools.
Physical Demands And Job Conditions
  • Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Employee is required to occasionally walk in customer field locations which may include inclines, uneven surfaces, and a variety of weather conditions.
  • Employee must be able to regularly bend, stoop, crawl, lie down, twist and push.
  • Employee is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including shoes/boots, hard hats, or respirators.
Work Environment
  • Work normally is executed at customer field locations in a variety of weather and temperature conditions.
  • Some work is accomplished indoors and in air‑conditioned or well‑ventilated facilities.
  • Work may include visits to customer offices or field locations.
