Merchandising Sales Associate

The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to execute various tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The role involves interacting with customers and team members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

Availability, flexibility, adaptability, and a service-oriented attitude are essential.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining regular and predictable attendance
• Working scheduled shifts, including varied hours, nights, and overtime as needed
• Communicating proactively with the District FAST Supervisor regarding work progress and issues
• Completing planograms, resets, store measurements, cycle counts, and signage installation accurately and timely
• Assembling merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs
• Performing recovery and review of planogram integrity
• Delivering Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
  Greet, Uncover Needs, Recommend Solutions, Add Value & Appreciate
• Ensuring a distinctive shopping experience for customers
• Providing peak coverage during high-traffic periods
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Experience:

Prior retail or merchandising experience required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

• Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding (strongly preferred)
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ethical conflict resolution
• Self-directed with minimal supervision

• Indoor and outdoor environments with moderate noise levels
• Shifts typically range from 4 to over 8 hours, varying by store
• Travel between store locations using personal vehicle, often for extended periods
• Adherence to safety guidelines and a safe work environment

• Ability to travel as needed
• Push, pull, lift, and reach merchandise up to 50 pounds, with assistance for heavier loads
• Frequent standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing
• Operate store equipment and communicate effectively
• Handle contact with birds/poultry
• Complete training requirements
• Operate store equipment (e.g., forklift if age-appropriate)
