• Active RN license (compact license accepted where applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of recent emergency department (ED/ER) experience in a similar setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification required; TNCC preferred
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and emergency nursing skills
• Familiarity with MEDITECH electronic medical record preferred

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a 2-bed ER with 1 overflow room
• Assess, triage, and manage patients with acute illnesses, trauma, cardiac events, lacerations, and orthopedic injuries
• Administer and monitor common drips (Heparin, Cardizem, Nitro) and manage critical care interventions
• Perform bedside triage, rapid assessment, and continuous monitoring of ED patients
• Collaborate with emergency physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff to stabilize and transfer patients as needed
• Float to Med Surg unit when required and provide cross-coverage support
• Document patient care accurately in MEDITECH and maintain compliance with hospital protocols
• Set up and manage respiratory therapy equipment and participate in emergency response/Code situations
• Participate in unit orientation and ongoing training as a travel nurse team member
