Job Summary

As a Nursing Assistant (NA), you will be the heart of our resident care team, providing compassionate, resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering age-appropriate care tailored to the physical and psychological needs of residents
  • Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Recording vital signs and providing psychosocial support
  • Facilitating safe transfers and mobility for residents
  • Creating a positive dining experience by assisting with meals and snacks
  • Documenting resident interactions and communicating changes to the nursing team
  • Supporting wellness and recreational programs to encourage resident participation
Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates who are:

  • A high school graduate or have a general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
  • At least 16 years old, with prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certified or willing to obtain certification within four months of hire
  • Committed to completing annual continuing education and competency testing
Working Conditions

This role may require you to be classified as a Sanford Category II Driver, which involves maintaining a valid driver’s license and meeting medical qualifications for driving.
