Plant Operator​/Batchman

• Location: Carrington RMX, North Dakota, USA

We are hiring for one of our prime clients seeking a Plant Operator/Batchman to oversee production, batching, and loading of ready-mix concrete while ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality. This role involves coordinating plant operations, supervising staff, and maintaining production schedules.

• Batch ready-mix concrete in dry batch plant
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Supervise, coordinate, and monitor plant and driver activities, including equipment maintenance
• Investigate operational issues and implement adjustments or repairs as needed
• Analyze operational data and reconfigure operating areas to optimize efficiency
• Maintain safety for all personnel on-site and ensure proper documentation of activities
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors and customer service
• Promote a culture of safety and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Field of study preferred:
  Business, Leadership, or related areas
• 3–5 years of experience in the construction industry; ready-mix experience preferred
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and supervisory experience preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Experience with Command Batch and dispatching systems preferred
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and complex mix designs an asset
• Computer proficiency including Windows, Google Mail, and spreadsheets
• Adherence to safety protocols and proper use of PPE
