Location: Bowman

Service Technician – Gooseneck Implement

Perform basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and dealer‑owned agricultural and turf equipment. May require direction from the Service Manager, Service Location Manager or shop foreman.

  • Diagnose and repair agricultural and turf equipment and AMS products.
  • Participate in mandatory Service EDUCATE training programs.
  • Maintain knowledge of John Deere and competing products.
  • Keep vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment in good condition.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly work area.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Complete required reports and forms.
  • Accurately record time on a time card and material usage.
  • 1+ year of experience performing service repairs.
  • Perform basic repairs and maintenance using special tools following Technical Manual procedures.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in repair of agricultural and turf equipment.
  • Use Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
  • Operate vehicles and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Basic Service Technician certification preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Fork lift license preferred.
