Maintenance Supervisor

Join Our Team as a Maintenance Supervisor!

We are currently seeking a part-time, skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor at Dakota Women's Correctional and Rehabilitation Center in New England, ND. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate maintenance and repairs across our facility to ensure a safe, functional environment for staff and inmates.

• Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, including assigning tasks and ensuring completion of work orders in a timely manner
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems
• Inspect and maintain building systems to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, and order new materials as needed
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and reduce costs
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests outside of regular work hours
• Ensure adherence to budget constraints and identify cost‑saving opportunities
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment history

• 2 Years previous experience in maintenance or facilities management
• Strong knowledge of building systems and construction techniques
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast‑paced environment
• Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• High school diploma or GED required; additional certification or training is a plus
