Duties 1:
Performs senior-level complex analysis in support of daily intelligence operations. Autonomously oversees and performs daily intelligence training, operations, and guides assigned projects while performing a variety of functions in the areas of intelligence collection, production, and product evaluation. Provides necessary recommendations to decision making authorities while developing future projects, managing programs or assignments, and conducting research and analysis on issues of operational importance based on the commander's priority intelligence requirements.

Senior Intelligence Analyst guides wing operations through the production and delivery of actionable intelligence, reports, and analysis. Continuously monitors area of responsibility and conducts country- specific research while presenting comprehensive threat overview assessments in written and verbal form. Supports daily deployments of over 1,000 members securing and maintaining the 8,500 square mile missile field complex, in direct support of $3.3 billion of Protection Level One assets.

Provides intelligence support to Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection (FP) programs. Analyzes all-source intelligence information for impact to unit mission and rapidly disseminates threat information to units across the wing as well as up the chain of command to higher headquarters. Focuses intelligence analysis on enemy activities, capabilities, tactics, weapons, intentions and probable courses of action and provides daily support to FP customers through products and briefings, including briefings to the Threat Working Group (TWG) and Intelligence Fusion Cell.

Is the Senior Intelligence Officer's deputy; the intelligence representative in the performance of unit staff functions and coordination with Numbered Air Force (NAF) and Major Command (MAJCOM) staffs. Attends staff meetings and provides functional area updates to organizational leaders. Responds to staff tasks levied by the unit, NAF, or MAJCOM. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Master's Degree or equivalent experience is desired Qualifications This is a GG-12 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-12 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-12 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
To qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements describes in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED:
Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles, and practices in interplay of geographical, political, military, economic, and industrial forces in various regions of the world as well as intelligence and FP/ AT threat entities, operations, and capabilities that may be directed against USAF, DoD, and other US resources.
Employee must also apply knowledge in US intelligence community policies, entities, missions, resources, operations, capabilities, databases, and requirements to perform intelligence research planning, operations collection, target analysis, and other intelligence collection related activities. As such, would be gained through extended graduate study or experience and skill in applying this intelligence knowledge to difficult and complex work assignments for the purpose of making recommendations in developing intelligence capabilities and threat assessments;
