Personal Banker – Watford City, ND
First International Bank & Trust (FIBT) is seeking a Personal Banker to join our Watford City, ND team. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys working directly with customers in a fast paced, high traffic branch and takes pride in accuracy, service, and relationship building.
As a Personal Banker, you will serve as the front line of the bank processing retail transactions, opening and maintaining consumer and business accounts, and helping customers feel confident in their banking experience. Our Watford City location serves a high volume of customers, making this a great opportunity for someone who thrives in an active environment and enjoys variety in their day.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional customer experience as a trusted point of contact for retail banking needs.
- Accurately process daily transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and payments.
- Open and maintain consumer and business accounts in compliance with documentation and regulatory requirements.
- Verify customer identification and follow established security and fraud prevention procedures.
- Educate customers on bank products, services, and policies to support personal or business needs.
- Identify opportunities to deepen relationships through appropriate product and service recommendations.
- Balance cash drawers and maintain accuracy in a high volume, fast paced environment.
- Collaborate with internal partners to refer customers to additional FIBT services.
- Follow all bank policies, procedures, internal controls, and confidentiality standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Cash handling and customer service experience required.
- Previous experience in banking, retail financial services, or a similar customer facing role preferred.
- Experience opening consumer and business accounts is preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer focused mindset with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to follow procedures, maintain confidentiality, and uphold ethical standards.
- Comfort working with computers and basic banking systems.
