Peace Lutheran Church
, located in the beautiful community of Hazen, North Dakota, is seeking a full-time pastor to serve our single-point parish. The primary focus of this role is to lead our congregation in faith and spiritual growth through traditional pastoral responsibilities. Administrative, financial, and supervisory duties are handled by our dedicated staff, church council, and committees.

This position became available following the retirement of our pastor, who then relocated out of state to be closer to family.

We are a debt-free congregation with savings set aside to address unexpected needs. Our commitment to missions is reflected in our monthly financial support of outside organizations, sponsorship of the local Moms Community (MOMCo), and involvement in various other outreach efforts.

In 1986, a fellowship hall was added to our spacious church sanctuary, providing a welcoming area for the congregation to gather before and after services. Our weekly worship services are attended by an average of 150 people.

The four-bedroom two-car garage parsonage is centrally located near the schools.

Our church website and Facebook page are currently under construction and are expected to be completed soon.

Our town of 2,300 thrives thanks to a strong agricultural base and its proximity to several energy facilities. The community is well-equipped with amenities, including a hospital, golf course, outdoor pool, walking path, baseball diamonds, and beautiful parks. We're also just minutes from Lake Sakakawea—a fantastic destination for walleye and salmon fishing, boating, and a wide range of water sports. [See (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).
