Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to provide comprehensive cardiology services. This locum tenens position involves managing clinic patients, covering hospital call on weekdays, and supervising stress tests performed by our Nurse Practitioner for Cardiology. The shift type is 24 hours, with on-call requirements included. Details:

Managing clinic patients, taking hospital/ER call, interpreting EKGs/Zio patches/Stress tests FTE: 1.0 Required Procedures:
Cardioversions, Stress tests, Pacemaker interrogations, deactivating/reactivating pacemakers for MRI EMR:
Allscripts, Meditech Support Staff:
Nurse Practitioner, Nurse, CNA Reason for Coverage:
Provider Resignation Additional Details:
Admissions per day: 5-8 procedures/week (echos, stress tests, etc.) Patients/day: 5 hospital consults per week, 10-20 clinic patients per day Certification Requirements: ACLS, BLS, Board Certification or Eligibility, DEA, NRP, PALS State License Requirement:
