Position for Project Manager, Medical Ad Board & Symposium Execution based in North Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Description
Leads end-to-end project management for Medical Affairs advisory boards and symposia, ensuring compliant, high-quality, and efficient execution through cross-functional and vendor collaboration.
Responsibilities- Manage 25-30 programs, primarily advisory boards and symposia
- Oversee timelines, budgets, scope, risks, and vendor performance
- Coordinate internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Ensure adherence to policies, regulations, and procedures
- Conduct post-meeting debriefs and capture lessons learned
- Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or business
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience in pharmaceutical industry and Medical Affairs
- MBA, PMP, or Six Sigma certification
- Medical education, advisory board, or symposium execution experience
- Vendor management and multi-country, matrix environment experience
- $65/hr - $70/hr
