Pharmacy Technician – Two Openings (Order Processing & Fulfillment)
Location: North Chicago, IL
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7:00AM–7:00PM
Overtime may be offered or required based on business needs.
Pharmacy Technician – Order Processing
Pay Rate: $22.00 – $24.00/hour
Shift Needs: Must be available for 10:30AM–7:00PM as needed
Supports pharmacists by entering and managing prescription orders, verifying information with providers, assisting with insurance inquiries, and handling patient or provider calls. Ensures accuracy, compliance, and high-quality service in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Enter prescription orders in compliance with state/federal regulations and HIPAA
- Verify and obtain missing prescription information from providers
- Update patient profiles (medications, allergies, history)
- Conduct insurance verification and communicate with payors
- Handle inbound/outbound calls and triage as needed
- Check and elevate pharmacist voicemail
- Support workflow improvements and other tasks assigned by Leads/Supervisors
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License
- Retail pharmacy experience
- Strong data entry and communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Customer service or call center experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- CPhT certification
- 3–5 years in healthcare or pharmacy operations
Pharmacy Technician – Fulfillment
Pay Rate: $27.27/hour
Training
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00AM–4:30PM
Responsible for accurate picking, labeling, packing, and shipping of prescription medications. Works closely with pharmacists and fulfillment leads to support timely, compliant medication delivery.

- Collaborate with pharmacists and fulfillment leads to meet daily deadlines
- Restock inventory and maintain supply levels
- Meet productivity and quality standards
- Support workflow improvements and maintain a clean, compliant work environment
Required:
- Pharmacy Technician Certification + Active License (must be active by first day)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience in pharmacy fulfillment, logistics, or warehouse operations
- Familiarity with pharmacy systems or order fulfillment platforms
