Financial Analyst III

Overview

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Financial/Accounting Analyst (hybrid) for a prominent client. This position is in North Chicago, IL (Hybrid).

• Pay rate up to $42/hr based on experience
• 3+ month contract - potential to extend or convert based on performance & budget
• This is a hybrid role

• Consolidation of the Monthly Reporting processes for Operations Internal Manufacturing & Engineering (IME), including 23 Global Manufacturing sites and various Headquarter functions, and supports consolidation of Plan, Update/LBE, and LRP
• Coordinates and provides support for the consolidation and preparation of management review packages for Monthly Actuals Reporting for all of Operations – IME
• Prepare and analyze the Manufacturing HQ P&L for Actuals, Plan, LBE (Last Best Estimate) and LRP (Long Range Plan); review and understand variances from relevant benchmarks
• Facilitate and assist in the consolidation and preparation of management review packages for Plan, Update/LBE, and LRP
• Drive process and system improvements to ensure continued evolution of efficiencies
• Operate independently with significant interface among the sites, as well as Operations HQ and FP&A group; balance competing demands while achieving timelines
• Provide ad hoc analysis to support complex decision-making

• Bachelor's degree required;
  Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred
• Preferred 4+ years of progressive and related experience in Finance and/or Accounting
• Execute priorities established by Manager with speed and agility
• Strong financial, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient Excel skills required
• Knowledge of BPC, SAP, and Power BI is a plus
• CPA and/or MBA desirable
• Experience in plant/cost accounting is a plus
