Position: RCI-ABBV-32692 Global Commercial PMO Manager (Pharma/Biotech/Medical Device/Healthcare)

Location:

- Hybrid Required (M/F Remote - T/W/TH Onsite) Non-negotiable

Contract:

6 Months - based on performance and business needs Project is covering for some one on leave but project will be extended as per business needs Looking for a PMO Manager Part of Commercial team in international customer excellence organization (Support function) Role involves supporting other support function to make things happen to follow the priorities that we have Priorities might shift overtime (If business need changes, then might need to jump from one project to another)

  • Looking for Global PM exp and pharma industry exp
  • Some one who has working on complex projects
  • some one who is agile
  • Leading the projects
  • Some one who can handle large projects
  • Candidate would help see delivery, helping on roll out, change management, prepping for awareness
  • Not looking for PM or BA that will be managing engineers
  • Experience in International and affiliates connections would be beneficial
  • There are 2 key group of stake holders International therapeutic area (international brand teams, rheumatology, oncology) and Affiliates (large, medium and smaller ones)
  • End goal is to roll out those strategies, tools, innovative processes, best practices to global affiliates
  • Working in a matrix environment (lots of stake holders)
  • lots of calls with affiliates and stake holders across the globe (early and late calls)
  • Healthcare, Pharma or medical device industry exp or matrix environment exp is beneficial
  • Will be working on strategy, technology (not need technology environment),
  • Working with Stakeholders: VP international customer excellence, Leadership team, Affiliates and more
  • Some one who is execution focused
  • Some one who can take complete ownership of project
  • Some one who can drive elements
  • Not looking for some one who is just note taker and meeting setter but some one who can raise the level of execution of the team
  • Exp in traditional business strategy
  • Global PM exp will be give first priority (some one who has managed complex projects)
What are the top 3-5 skills, experience or education required for this position:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing matrixed, cross-functional, or global projects/programs (business transformation, strategic initiatives, product launch, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
    English fluency required
  • Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, including Senior Leadership, and teams in a global environment
  • Familiarity with PMO methodologies, tools, and frameworks
  • Pharmaceutical industry exposure a plus but not required
Overview
  • Join our International Customer Excellence PMO group supporting high-impact global business transformation, strategic programs, and product launches within a matrixed pharmaceutical environment.
  • We’re seeking contractors who thrive in dynamic settings, partner well across regions and functions, and help drive operational excellence aligned with organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute PMO activities to enable aligned project delivery across multiple functions, regions, and affiliates
  • Support and maintain industry-standard PMO processes, tools, and reporting methodologies to ensure consistency, governance, and transparency
  • Collaborate with international commercial and marketing teams to facilitate smooth communication, touchpoints, and delivery of key initiatives
  • Assist senior PMO leads and project managers in risk management, resource planning, and performance tracking for initiatives spanning business transformation, strategy, and launches
  • Prepare project status reports, summaries, and presentations for stakeholders and sponsors
  • Help coordinate cross-functional meetings and workshops (e.g., town halls, council sessions), ensuring logistical and content alignment
Skills, Experience,

Education:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing matrixed, cross-functional, or global projects/programs (business transformation, strategic initiatives, product launch, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
    English fluency required
  • Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and teams in a global environment
  • Familiarity with PMO methodologies, tools, and frameworks (specific certifications/tools TBD)
  • Pharmaceutical industry exposure a plus but not required
Preferred:
  • Project management certifications advantageous
  • Direct experience supporting international initiatives or teams
  • Experience preparing project reporting for senior management
