We are seeking a detail-oriented, hardworking, and safety-conscious individual to support our onsite operations as a Utility Worker. The role of our Utility Workers is of great responsibility as they are tasked with ensuring that our Vehicle Fleet complies with Federal and State OSHA and CDC standards. Additionally, our Utility Workers ensure that our vehicle fleet always looks its best. You represent our company to the community, and your attention to detail and care for the fleet is vital.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning, sanitizing, and washing the interior and exterior of each vehicle.
  • Reporting end-of-day (EOD) mileage for all vehicles.
  • Detailing an agreed-upon number of vehicles per month.
  • Checking and maintaining all system fluids levels with oils, DEF, coolant, washer fluid.
  • Closing/locking the office and shop EOD.
  • Ensuring vehicle emergency equipment (fire extinguisher, body-fluid kit, first aid kit) is fully stocked and functional.
  • Detailed record keeping of services performed.
  • Inspecting and documenting fleet damage and communicating to the manager/supervisor.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, teamwork-oriented work area.
  • Assisting others as requested.
  • Moving vehicles safely between the job and work area.
  • Other duties assigned.
Qualifications
  • No criminal convictions or DWI, DUI, assault, or possession of controlled substances within the last five years. Must be able to complete and pass pre-employment performance evaluation. DOT physical, drug, and alcohol screening and background investigation and pre-employment assessments and tests.
  • Two (2) years of experience related to the job tasks or equivalent experience.
  • All applicants must possess a current and valid driver’s license.
  • General knowledge of fuels and lubricants, vehicle and fuel safety procedures, and cleaning materials.
  • Must be able to lift or move up to fifty pounds.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, kneel, or crawl.
Schedule

5:00 pm to 1:30 am, weekends included.

Education

High school diploma or GED.
