Position: Software Developer with Security Clearance
Description
* designing, developing, and implementing systems software solutions that meet dod specifications and performance standards
* conducting thorough testing, debugging, and performance analysis to ensure software stability and optimal functionality
* collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate systems software with broader mission-critical applications and systems
* preparing comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and maintenance reports
* supporting continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process enhancements and implementing best practices #li-tf1 filling this position is contingent upon funding requirements
* five plus years experience in a software developer role
* one plus years experience must be with communication systems, networks, or technologies
* one plus years experience must include agile software development experience
* bachelor's degree in a related field
* demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain systems software that adheres to dod operational and security requirements
* proficient in system-level programming, utilizing languages such as c, c++, and/or java for robust software development
* skilled in debugging, performance tuning, and rigorous code testing to ensure software reliability and security
* possess an active dod secret security clearance desired skills
* familiarity with modern development frameworks and tools (e.g., git, jenkins, ci/cd pipelines) to streamline software delivery
* experience working within agile methodologies, enabling iterative development and rapid integration
* knowledge of secure coding practices and cybersecurity frameworks to enhance the resilience of systems software
* strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex system issues and recommend effective solutions clearance information src is a contractor for the u.s.
