Lead Appliance Installation Technician Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Lead Appliance Installation Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the safe delivery, installation, and setup of residential and light commercial appliances. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable leading installs in the field while providing a strong customer experience.
This is a working lead role for someone who takes pride in doing the job right the first time and setting the standard on job sites.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver, install, and set up household and commercial appliances, including refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, washers, and dryers
- Safely connect appliances to electrical, plumbing, gas, and ventilation systems as required
- Verify proper installation by testing appliances before leaving the job site
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic installation or operational issues on site
- Provide customers with clear instructions on appliance operation, care, and safety
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment at all times
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, and internal team members
- Complete required documentation, including installation reports and service records
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and job-site requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of related experience preferred (appliance installation, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or similar trade)
- Working knowledge of appliance installation, including electrical and plumbing connections
- Ability to safely lift, move, and install heavy appliances
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to customer locations
- Availability to work after normal business hours as needed to meet customer and project demands
- Certification or formal training in appliance installation or a related trade
- Experience installing gas appliances and following proper safety procedures
- Familiarity with local building codes and installation requirements

Satisfactory MVR (driving record); D.O.T. physical/certification in states that require a drug screen, criminal background investigation with job performance reference check, and required testing, a valid Driver's License, and compliance with the Company's Driver Qualification Policy
