• Technician Positions Pay Each Week
• Performs maintenance and repair duties on heavy duty vehicles as assigned.
• Complete vehicle maintenance and preventive maintenance; diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the complaint and provides guidance.
• Instructs and advises other technicians regarding maintenance, repair procedures, and diagnostics.
• Coaches/Mentors other level technicians; advises shop management on repairs.
• Utilizes Shop Management System and electronic documentation; adheres to safety, DOT, MOT guidelines.
• Other support duties as required to support operations (e.g., Service Island support).

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or Technical Certification, post secondary degree or technical certifications preferred
• Basic tools required
• Demonstrated aptitude and experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including:
  • Routine preventive maintenance (oil changes, brake and tire work)
  • Diagnostics and repairs, including AC and electrical systems
  • Advanced skilled repairs including major engine repairs, diesel aftertreatment, or automotive fuel injection repairs
• Four (4) years or more relevant work experience preferred
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred
• All other location-required certifications as required

• Ability to perform all T3 tasks
• Advanced analytical and repair skills in vehicle maintenance
• Effective interpersonal communication skills
• Basic computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Shift work/weekends and on-call duty as required
• ASE Certification in PM, Brakes, A/C, electrical, Electronics or ASE Master Mechanic preferred
• Operate shop computers and diagnostic test equipment proficiently
• Minimum tool requirements
• Road test vehicles as necessary
• Ability to coach/mentor/influence others
