Summary: ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC). We are looking for a G eneral Maintenance Worker to join our team .

• Repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge (but not proficiency) in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work
• Replace electrical receptacles, wires, bulbs, ballast, switches, fixtures, and motors
• Use plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings
• Repair or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets
• Paint structures and equipment
• Repair or replace concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks
• Replace damaged paneling and floor tiles
• Hang doors and install door locks
• Perform Preventive Maintenance on exhaust fans, emergency lighting, HVAC equipment, water coolers, pumps, facility operating equipment
• Performing general maintenance on equipment and facility infrastructure
• Crawl under and work on the topside of buildings as needed to make repairs
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must have 2 years of recent experience as a General Maintenance Worker
• Must be a US Citizen and posses a valid US Passport or REAL
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate motor vehicles
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs. unassisted
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Clear and effective written and communication skills
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen and physical
