Ticket Sales RepresentativeThe Ticket Sales Representative is the face of the Charleston Operation. You are often the first person from our company that guests meet. You inspire guests to take tours and visit attractions. You are an ambassador for your city. Our guests should understand what they will miss if they did not see city on our Trolley Tours. To do this well, you must be knowledgeable about all of the offerings in your city in order to give our guests the experience of making memories to last of a lifetime.

Essential Functions- Greet everyone you meet with a smile and prompt service, and extend courtesy, friendliness, and hospitality.
- Give every guest the ultimate compliment of recognition and attention and guide them to the best offerings based on their interests and time in your city.
- Utilize exceptional sales skills including a strong pitch, prospecting, handling objections, cross-selling, upselling, and closing the deal.
- Present the cost of tours and attractions based on the company’s pricing system.
- Process vouchers and e-tickets with care and make recommendations for additional offerings
- Communicate with the dispatcher to advise on the number of guests at your stop or any problems at your stop.
- Ability to work independently over long periods of time within the scope of established rules and regulations to satisfy the needs of our guests
- Have demonstrable sales skills
- Must have excellent math skills
- Ability to work with money, credit cards, and cash receipts
- Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, taking the time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Must pass pre-employment background check and substance abuse testing
- Have a passion for helping people and making their Charleston experience a memorable one.
