Boeing contract assignment note: this posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

This posting is for an on-site role based in North Charleston, South Carolina. Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Physical requirements:

none specified. This is a non-managerial, non-leadership role.

• Verifies complex product conformance to design requirements.
• Provides objective evidence of results.
• Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies, and procedures.
• Supports inspection and verification of operations Level C and D determined work statements most of the time.
• Identifies and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items.
• Conducts product reviews with customer during product or process verification.
• Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conforming items.
• Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.
• Expertise in generation of all Velocity EPDs (PU, CI, NC, CA).
• This position is expected to be 100% onsite at the North Charleston, SC site.
• This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements; a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.

• 8+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or a regulated industry.
• 2+ years of experience using Velocity, REDARs and/or CMES.
• Composite fabrication experience.
• Structural work experience (wing work).
• Wiring.
• Production testing experience.
• 1+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• A&P License.
• Experience identifying critical path analysis, float analysis, schedule impact analysis, recovery planning, root cause analysis, trend analysis, schedule quality metrics, and risk analysis.
• Mastery of inspection techniques using visual, tactile and tool-assisted inspection methods.
• Experience in a team environment.
• Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience.
• 787 Program Experience.

Successful completion and clearance of all screening requirements is a contingency for this assignment.

5-6 weeks of training.

Pay Rate Range

• Min Pay Rate: $35
• Max Pay Rate: $38
• Currency: USD
• Unit: hourly
