ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Spruill Avenue). We are looking for a part-time Lifeguard
.

DESCRIPTION:

• Support pool operations and safety
• Monitor swimming activities to prevent accidents
• Maintain order in the pool and pool area.
• Rescue swimmers in danger and administer first aid.
• Inspect facilities for cleanliness and cleans pool and pool area, including restrooms.
• Determine chlorine content and pH value of water using testing kits.
• Check items in and out such as towels and recreation equipment.
• Complete daily assigned facility tasks as designated.
• May conduct or officiate swimming competitions/games.
• Report emergencies to Security, Supervisor and Contract Representatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Red Cross First Aid and CPR certified
• Certified Lifeguard Certificate
• Must be a US Citizen with a US issued Passport or Real
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Unassisted
• Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Clear and effective written and communication skills
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical
• Evenings, weekends and/or holidays will be required.
• Flexibility a must.
