Description:
This position requires a Registered Nurse with experience in a Progressive Care Unit.
The shift consists of three 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:4.
Weekend work is required, with every other weekend if necessary.
Floating to different units may be required as needed.
The role demands strong clinical skills, particularly in telemetry monitoring and the management of patients with cardiac conditions.
Candidates should be proficient in assessing and treating patients with various diagnoses, including neurological, pulmonary, and surgical conditions.
Knowledge of specific procedures and patient care protocols is essential.
The nurse will provide direct patient care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Additional skills required include managing telemetry drips, care of ventilated patients, and wound care.
Experience with Epic charting is a must.
Compliance with all hospital protocols and practices is expected.
