New Wire Marine is searching for an Experienced CNC Machinist/Operator. We are a fast-paced and growing company located in North Charleston, SC. We craft custom boat dash and switch panels, known for their superior quality and attention to detail. Each product is carefully designed, milled, etched, and assembled with precision and care.
Who We're Looking For:
We are looking for a CNC Machinist/Operator who can work independently with the utmost efficacy and safety – who can confidently deliver on the following:
- Excellent attention to detail with exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of basic math skills, including algebra and geometry.
- Ability to understand and read work orders, drawings and follow detailed instructions.
- Knowledge of reading calipers.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use basic hand tools.
- Capable of creating toolpaths using G-code generating software.
- Understanding of various computer applications, including Drop Box.
- Experience in the marine and boating industry a plus!
