Overview
- Assemble switch gear cabinets and enclosures according to engineering drawings and work instructions
- Perform mechanical assembly including mounting components, panels, frames, and hardware
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and wiring prints
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Verify assemblies meet quality standards and specifications
- Identify and report assembly issues, missing parts, or discrepancies
- Follow safety procedures, ESD practices, and production guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Experience as a Mechanical Assembler, Electrical Assembler, or similar role
- Experience assembling electrical cabinets, control panels, or switch gear
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, diagrams, and schematics
- Familiarity with basic wiring (point‑to‑point wiring, cable routing, labeling)
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Background in industrial, electrical, or manufacturing environments
- Understanding of electrical safety standards
- Technical training or vocational certification (a plus)
