Electrical Assembler

Job Title:
Assembly Technician

• Assemble components using hand tools such as crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, and press fits.

• Mount assembled components like transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets onto chassis panels.

• Connect component wires to circuits and wires between individual component leads.

• Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.

• Position or align components and parts using hand tools or machines.

• Conduct quality control checks to ensure product standards.

• Clean and maintain the work area and equipment, including tools.

• Prepare work by studying parts lists and gathering necessary parts, subassemblies, and tools.

• Experience with electrical wiring and wire harness assembly.

• Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints or electrical assembly diagrams.

• Ability to work with hand and power tools, such as torque drills, wrenches, and ratchets.

• Experience in electronic and mechanical assembly, including schematics and electrical assembly.

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

• Experience in general production and assembly line work.

• Capability to lift up to 50lbs.

The work environment is climate controlled, ensuring comfortable working conditions. Expect to work 10-hour shifts, including weekends, for the time being. The first shift operates from 6 am to 2:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, SC.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 – $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in North Charleston,SC.
