Functional Test Technician

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Functional Test Technicians for an opportunity in Charleston, South Carolina.

• 1+ years of experience in electrical assembly and/or electronic materials.
• 1+ years of experience in avionics systems troubleshooting, wire bundle installations, and aircraft electrical systems troubleshooting.
• 1+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing.
• 1+ years of experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite, and/or other specialized computer applications.
• 1+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications, in English.

• Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
• Perform functional testing of aircraft electrical systems and components, and troubleshoot aircraft systems and faults.
• Assess and document test or analysis data to demonstrate compliance.
• Identify roadblocks and production constraints, escalating unresolved issues using clear communication.
• Support teammates through cross-training and mentoring to improve team performance.
• Adhere to high safety and regulatory compliance standards.

• Meet physical demands such as bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting, standing, climbing, crawling, and crouching.
• Lift up to 35 pounds.
• Work with high hazard chemicals.

Training duration: 8-10 weeks.

Positions are on variable shifts; candidates must be able to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift depending on business needs.

Building location varies based on business needs.

Successful completion of screening requirements is mandatory.

This is a non-managerial, non-leadership role.
