Overview
As the Senior Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for developing advanced production plans, managing inventory levels for third party tolling and intercompany transfer products, planning raw materials for third party tollers, and processing work orders/production orders for these sites. You will also oversee warehouse related activities across all U.S. national warehouses that support tolling operations. This position will coordinate daily with third party tolling partners, ensure efficient production scheduling, optimize inventory and material flows, and collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve production goals, while taking a leadership role in improving planning processes and systems.

- Develop and implement advanced production plans for third party tolling and intercompany transfer products.
- Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet production and customer demands.
- Plan and manage raw materials requirements for third party tollers to ensure timely supply.
- Process work orders and production orders for third party tolling sites.
- Coordinate with third party tolling sites as the daily operational contact, ensuring timely production, issue resolution, and alignment on schedules.
- Oversee warehouse activities across U.S. national warehouses, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, and movement of materials supporting tolling operations.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Analyze production, warehouse, and inventory data to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, warehouse teams, and sales to ensure smooth production operations.
- Prepare reports and provide insights on production performance, raw material planning, third party activities, and inventory levels.
- Lead initiatives to enhance planning processes, tools, and systems.
What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- B.S. degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in production planning or inventory management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in advanced planning software and MS Office.
What will set me apart?
- An advanced degree (MBA or master’s in supply chain management).
- Prior experience with ERP systems, specifically QAD and SAP.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in a chemical or related industry.
- Experience implementing new planning methods and tools.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Project management experience, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel, Power BI, or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior planning staff.
Compensation at ICL: If you are hired at ICL, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. We also offer a generous benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000
Annual Bonus Target: 5%, subject to plan provisions.
