Aircraft Assembler

Aircraft work in various locations:

The Fountain Group is currently seeking Aircraft Assemblers for a prominent client. There are multiple positions available at the following locations:

• North Charleston, SC ($25-$37/hr, $5k Relocation Package)
• Maxwell AFB, AL - $41.19/hr
• San Antonio, TX - $40.17/hr
• Various other locations available

Job Description:

• Pay rate between $25-$42/hr depending on location and experience.
• 12-month assignments with the possibility of extension based on performance and budget.
• Various skill sets needed (electrical, structural, fuel tank sealer, interior specialists, systems assembly and testing).
• Assemble, disassemble, and modify systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
• Oversee assembly, disassembly, or overhaul processes.
• Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
• Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components.
• Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, modifications, inspections).
• Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months+ of aircraft repair, maintenance, or assembly experience required (more experience may be required depending on location). Open to aerospace program graduates as well.
