Role Summary

This role leads, manages and coaches a regional team of Immunology Account Executives to assess regional business opportunities within the assigned geography and priority Immunology Accounts, and to deliver product performance goals. The position requires understanding of Immunology brand value propositions and effective execution within target accounts, via direct reports who engage key customers, and coordinates across Immunology field sales and in-field support teams at the Region level.

Responsibilities
  • People Leadership
    • Develop, implement and execute skill development plans for direct reports; provide coaching during field-travel and key account planning discussions; evaluate execution of franchise priorities and ensure performance of IAEs aligns with objectives.
    • Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure coordinated execution of core priorities; monitor and clarify IAE roles and priorities across partner organizations.
    • Develop and advance development planning with direct reports; engage IAE and partners to elevate inclusion and culture goals.
  • Business Strategy (Analysis, Planning, Execution)
    • Integrate marketing strategies into regional execution, including sales training needs, to elevate regional effectiveness in key account management.
    • Collaborate with Market Access and Trade to identify health system opportunities and conceptualize solutions within approved standards and resources.
    • Ensure appropriate use of approved promotional materials with health economic messaging.
    • Lead analysis and application of sales data with direct reports and partners to inform planning and achieve sales objectives.
    • Utilize analytic tools to assess regional performance and create strategic selling initiatives; report monthly regional performance against objectives.
    • Work with franchise leadership to develop and execute regional pull-through plans aligned with core execution priorities.
    • Drive regional execution of business and Key Account planning; supervise direct reports to align messaging and account targeting with regional execution; monitor execution using business tools.
    • Engage prioritized accounts directly to build relationships with key customers in support of organizational objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Advanced analytical, coaching, direct people leadership, communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting business.
  • Ability to examine complex business environment and develop/execute plans in response to market and account opportunities.
  • In-depth experience working within large accounts and across KAM/Matrix teams strongly preferred but not required.
  • Immunology sales/sales leadership preferred but not required.
  • Driving a personal auto or company car or truck, or a powered piece of material handling equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and meet safe driving requirements.
