- developing comprehensive test and evaluation (t&e) plans, procedures, and strategies
- ensuring testing activities comply with dod policies, security requirements, and military standards (e.g., mil-std-810/461)
- analyzing test results to assess system performance, discover bugs or vulnerabilities, and report findings to project managers and other stakeholders
- understanding the requirements to execute multiple test events on a variety of networks within the navy
- collaborating with engineers, analysts, and government personnel to ensure program requirements and objectives are met
- providing subject matter expertise recommendations on testing requirements
- performing system level software testing to accurately validate operational readiness
- translating user requirements into tasks to execute as a member of the test team
- performing document reviews for technical accuracy
- identifying basic test and evaluation methodologies for new systems and system updates
- generating t-e planning, execution, and reporting documentation
- current dod ts/sci eligibility
- 5-7 years of experience with shipboard systems including but not limited to ship's signal exploitation equipment (ssee) increment f
- comptia security+ or ability to achieve within six months of hire
- strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across functional teams
- strong understanding of software installation and software engineering practices
- proficiency in microsoft office suite (word, excel, power point, outlook, teams)
- ability to produce executive-level briefings and documentation
- ci polygraph
- eight or more years of experience with shipboard systems including but not limited to ship's signal exploitation equipment (ssee) increment f
- experience with mission modules
- ssee increment f nec c21a
- advanced signals analyst nec c19a
- experience supporting navy niwc pac or niwc lant programs
- familiarity with software integration or system engineering programs
- knowledge of navy acquisition processes and pmo reporting requirements
src is a contractor for the u.s. Government. This position will require u.s. Citizenship as well as a u.s. Government security clearance at the top secret / sci level with ci poly eligibility
