Charleston Pediatric Rehabilitation

Serves patients and their families in a high paced pediatric rehabilitation out patient clinic by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies therapists of patient arrival; collects payments; schedules patients; maintains telecommunications system, and supports therapy and administration staff.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Welcomes patients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
• Scheduling new and existing patients.
• Maintains patient confidentiality by following procedures; monitoring logbook.
• Maintains safe and clean reception area and workspace by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
