Position: Engineering Technician with Security Clearance
Description
* performing basic repair and maintenance operations on equipment, ensuring functionality and adherence to standards
* conducting test procedures and collects observational data for analytical use
* preparing and organizing technical data for presentations or documentation purposes
* assisting senior technicians and engineers in performing evaluations or system tests, including preparing basic test setups and tools
* maintaining operational logs and records to ensure accurate tracking of work performed and components used filling this position is contingent upon funding #li-tf1 requirements
* 1-3 years of experience in an engineering technician role
* high school diploma or ged
* demonstrated ability to perform intermediate-level engineering tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and testing of mechanical and electronic systems in accordance with dod specifications
* proficient in using advanced diagnostic tools and test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes) to identify and resolve system malfunctions
* skilled in interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for system troubleshooting and repair
* possess an active dod secret security clearance desired skills
* familiarity with reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical schematics
* experience with tools and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
* strong organizational abilities for tracking and documenting engineering data reports
* knowledge of troubleshooting techniques for resolving minor equipment and instrumentation issues
