Position: Systems Engineer IV with Security Clearance
Description
* assisting in developing and validating system-level requirements to ensure alignment with customer needs and mission objectives
* supporting the design, integration, and testing of complex systems by preparing technical documentation, schematics, and system models
* monitoring system performance and conducting data analyses to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
* collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate system modifications, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensuring compliance with contractual standards
* preparing detailed progress reports and maintaining comprehensive records of system configurations, testing procedures, and operational metrics filling this position is contingent upon funding #li-tf1 requirements
* five or more years of experience in a system engineering role
* one or more years of experience shall be related to the design, development, integration, testing, and fielding of communication systems, networks, or technologies
* bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering discipline, computer science or it discipline, or technical discipline
* demonstrated ability to support system engineering processes including requirements analysis, design evaluation, and integration in accordance with contract specifications
* proficient in utilizing systems engineering methodologies and analytical tools to assess system performance and recommend operational enhancements
* skilled in interpreting technical documents, schematics, and system models to ensure compliance with dod and industry standards
* possess an active dod secret security clearance desired skills
* familiarity with model-based systems engineering (mbse) tools and methodologies (e.g., sysml, uml) to improve system documentation and design integrity
* proficiency in simulation and analysis software (e.g., matlab, simulink) to assist in predictive system performance evaluations
* demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams with an aptitude for troubleshooting and process improvement
* experience with project management principles and tools to support effective workflow and timely project deliverables clearance information src is a contractor for the u.s.
