Position: Electronics Technician Maintenance with Security Clearance
Description
* performing preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced electronic systems to ensure continuous operational readiness in compliance with dod standards
* conducting detailed diagnostics using specialized test equipment to identify component failures and execute corrective repairs
* reviewing and interpreting technical documentation, schematics, and system manuals to plan and execute maintenance tasks accurately
* collaborating with engineering teams to implement system upgrades and modifications, ensuring minimal system downtime
* documenting all maintenance activities, including repair logs and calibration records, to support continuous improvement and regulatory compliance #li-tf1 filling this position is contingent upon funding requirements
* five plus years experience in an electronics technician role
* bachelor's degree in a related field
* demonstrated expertise in performing complex maintenance, diagnostics, and repair operations on advanced electronic systems in accordance with dod specifications
* proficient in interpreting technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately troubleshoot and calibrate electronic components using specialized diagnostic tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters)
* possess an active dod secret security clearance desired skills
* familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (cmms) and predictive maintenance tools to optimize repair schedules and reduce downtime
* experience with lean maintenance practices and process improvement methodologies to drive operational efficiency
* strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to mentor junior technicians and effectively communicate technical issues to cross-functional teams clearance information src is a contractor for the u.s.
