Position: Production Control Clerk with Security Clearance
Description
* tracking and maintaining production schedules to ensure timely completion of deliverables and adherence to milestones outlined in dod contracts
* monitoring inventory levels and coordinating procurement activities to ensure sustained workflow operations without disruptions
* preparing detailed production reports, documenting resource allocation, material usage, and scheduling challenges for management review
* coordinating with engineering, logistics, and quality assurance teams to identify and resolve issues affecting production timelines
* implementing production control best practices and maintaining documentation to ensure compliance with industry and contractual standards filling this position is contingent upon funding #li-tf1 requirements
* three or more years of experience in a production control clerk role
* bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline
* demonstrated ability to track and manage production schedules, timelines, and material availability, ensuring alignment with project needs and dod requirements
* skilled in utilizing logistical tracking systems and advanced software tools to monitor inventory levels, coordinate procurement, and streamline workflow operations
* proficient in preparing and maintaining detailed records of production activities, including material usage, workflow issues, and resource allocation
* possess an active dod secret security clearance desired skills
* familiarity with automated production control systems and enterprise resource planning (erp) tools such as sap or oracle
* strong analytical skills to evaluate production timelines and identify optimization strategies for enhanced operational efficiency
* proven ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to resolve production bottlenecks and implement best practices
* knowledge of dod compliance standards and experience, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements clearance information src is a contractor for the u.s.
