Our client is seeking an exceptional Quality Engineer to become a valued part of their innovative automotive team, based in North Charleston, SC. In this permanent role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in a sector driven by performance, precision, and excellence. As part of our client's forward-thinking environment, you'll help ensure the highest standards in quality management while contributing to the success of cutting-edge projects in the automotive industry.

• Lead APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) activities for new product launches and engineering changes.
• Manage PPAP submissions and ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions using tools such as 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone diagrams.
• Interface directly with OEM customers on quality issues and audits.
• Monitor and analyze quality metrics (e.g., scrap, rework, customer complaints) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within high volume manufacturing.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in quality tools and software (e.g., Minitab, QMS platforms).
• Strong customer facing stature & personality.
