Tecta America Carolinas is a commercial roofing contractor based in Charlotte, NC. We provide a full range of roofing services to commercial and industrial clients in North and South Carolina, with additional service areas in West Virginia and Tennessee.

Project Manager – Commercial Roofing
Reports to the General Manager.

• Understand contract scope and company responsibilities.
• Identify deviations from specifications, plans, and schedule.
• Generate estimates from drawings, specifications, field notes, and inspections.
• Obtain all necessary information such as measurements, photographs, and sketches for accurate pricing.
• Submit proposals to customers.
• Communicate with owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, and property managers.
• Attend or conduct all weekly meetings in conjunction with project start-up, pre-bid, sales, and job progress.
• Generate project budgets, submittals, equipment requirements, purchase orders, material lists, manpower and lodging and transportation.
• Handle all safety issues.
• Conduct pre-job safety analysis of each project.
• Monitor job costs against original estimates, budgets and change orders.
• Manage project closeouts and ensure warranty documents are requested and received.
• Execute contracts with subcontractors.
• Month-end WIP report and cost-to-complete report.

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college preferred (Construction Management).
• Minimum three (3) years of roofing or construction industry experience.
• Planning, organizing, problem identification/resolution, follow-through, priority setting and sense of urgency.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and comfortable visiting job sites about 50% of the time (without fear of heights).
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, and converse comfortably with associates.
• Knowledge of business and management principles.
• Familiarity with project management software.
• Extensive knowledge of roofing materials, techniques and requirements.
