Skilled Helper — Site Work Construction Crew

$18–$20/hr — Hiring Immediately

Join a growing site work construction team supporting civil and commercial projects in North Charleston! This role offers hands-on experience in traffic control, site preparation, and general labor—an excellent entry point for anyone looking to build a long-term career in construction. Full-time, long-term role with growth pathways and consistent work

• Assist with site preparation and cleanup, including debris removal and material handling.
• Perform flagging and traffic control, supporting safe work zones for crews and the public.
• Load, unload, and move tools, equipment, and construction materials around the work site.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and small equipment as required for daily tasks.
• Assist equipment operators and skilled trades—including carpenters, pipe layers, and other craftspeople—when needed.
• Support building and removing temporary structures such as ladders, barricades, and scaffolding.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety guidelines and instructions from supervisors.

• Previous construction or general labor experience preferred but not required—we are willing to train motivated workers!!
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, digging, and carrying materials for extended periods.
• Capability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold) on active construction sites.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

• Work may include hot summers, wet or cold conditions, and fast-paced site activity requiring constant situational awareness.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, SC.

The pay range for this position is $15.00 – $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in North Charleston,SC.
