Today we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to support and enhance our warehousing process.
This position plays a key role in coordinating daily warehouse operations, supporting inventory accuracy, organizing shipments and deliveries, and helping ensure teams have what they need to work efficiently. If you enjoy keeping operations running smoothly, solving logistical challenges, and creating structure that helps a team succeed, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Operations Management
- Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and distribution
- Maintain organized inventory layout to support efficient material flow
- Inventory Control & Accuracy
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct cycle counts
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate records
- Shipping, Receiving & Documentation
- Verify shipping and receiving documents for accuracy
- Coordinate timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments
- Team Leadership & Scheduling
- Assign daily tasks and support warehouse staff performance
- Assist with scheduling, training, and onboarding
- Safety & Equipment Oversight
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standard
- Monitor equipment condition and coordinate maintenance
- Process Improvement & Efficiency
- Track warehouse KPIs and identify efficiency improvements
- Support cost reduction and workflow optimization initiatives
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with production, planning, and logistics teams
- Provide operational updates and support assigned projects
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience in furniture, wood products, or similar industries is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience creating policies, procedures, and training materials
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality/ERP systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
