Seasonal Warehouse Associate

Assignment will last until the end of April 2026.

Salary: $18 an hour, hiring immediately.

M-F day shift positions with some overtime required.

Location: Arden, NC.

• Follow batch priorities set by the Fulfillment Manager or Lead.
• Use tablets and barcode scanners to locate, scan, and retrieve products accurately.
• Verify product type, quantity, and bin location for order accuracy.
• Select appropriate picking carts and stage completed batches for shipping.
• Maintain FIFO compliance and accurate scanning practices.

• Prioritize and process orders based on system direction and aging reports.
• Verify packed contents against shipping software data.
• Accurately weigh packages and select appropriate carrier and shipping method (Fed Ex, USPS, etc.).
• Pack, seal, label, and stage shipments following company SOPs.
• Maintain organized shipping stations and restock packing supplies.
• Move pallets and carts as needed to support outbound operations.

• Retrieve and complete Manufacturing Orders (MOs) in Odoo ERP.
• Measure and package seeds and bulbs into retail units using scales, counters, and packing machines.
• Perform continuous quality checks for weight, count, labeling, and seal integrity.
• Record production output, lot tracking, and discrepancies in ERP system.
• Follow strict labeling and compliance standards.
• Maintain 5S workstation organization and cleanliness standards.

• Restock inventory and count products as assigned.
• Operate pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment.
• Perform light cleaning and maintain a safe, organized work area.
• Return all equipment (scanners, tablets, tools) to designated areas at shift end.
• Cross‑train in multiple warehouse functions as needed.

• Comfortable using tablets, scanners, inventory software, and shipping systems
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Team‑oriented mindset with willingness to support multiple departments
• Ability to safely operate basic warehouse tools and equipment

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment

This is a seasonal, on‑site warehouse position performed on the warehouse and production floor in a dynamic, fast‑paced setting.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motion
• Regular lifting up to 50 lbs
