Job Title: Warehouse Associate – 1st Shift

Location: Arden, NC 28704

Pay rate: $15.00 - $17.83/hr

Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime:
As early as 6:00 AM on weekdays; strong possibility for OT
Weekend OT:
Saturday 8-hour shift;
Sunday 8-hour shift with bonus potential

The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for moving, storing, and staging products within the warehouse using material handling equipment. This role supports order fulfillment by accurately building customer orders and loading them onto delivery trucks. Warehouse Associates play a critical role in ensuring timely, accurate, and safe delivery of products to customers.

• Load and unload freight efficiently
• Move product to storage areas using appropriate material handling equipment
• Stack and store product in designated warehouse locations
• Accurately build customer orders on a repetitive basis
• Transport orders to shipping and packing areas using material handling equipment
• Sort, mark, pack, repack, label, and weigh orders as required
• Safely lift and handle products up to 50 lbs. repetitively
• Operate material handling equipment including forklift, stock picker, reach truck, and pallet jack
• Perform daily inspections and minor maintenance on equipment
• Complete and handle paperwork accurately
• Check and count product for accuracy and damage
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment
• Charge and change forklift batteries as needed
• Assist with physical inventory counts
• Perform miscellaneous warehouse tasks as assigned by management

• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of warehouse safety, handling, and operational standards
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) using a calculator
• Ability to apply common sense problem-solving skills
• Ability to work a minimum of eight (8) hours per shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist and waist to floor
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
• Ability to wear steel-toe shoes and required PPE
• Ability to work at height elevations without limitation
