Receiving Clerk

Overview

Are you an experience in Warehousing and looking for a job where your attention to detail and experience can make a difference? Villari Foods is currently seeking an Receiving Clerk to join our team in Warsaw, North Carolina.

In Villari Foods, the receiving clerk verifies the equality and count of all items unloading from the trucks and trailers;
Perform daily tasks associated with Receiving Duties & Functions, Inventory Control functions within the warehouse operations.

• Completes daily receiving entries in the computer system and distributes to purchasing office for filing.
• Manages critical supply inventories and reporting monthly inventory accounting.
• Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Verifies and records all items loaded for shipments or receiving.
• Carefully and accurately maintains receiving records for requested categories.
• Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions.
• Perform other responsibilities and duties as requested by supervisor.

• Ability to remain calm & focused in a faced paced environment
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received.
• Basic understanding of dock, and warehouse procedures.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft office suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

High School Diploma and/or GED.

Experience in the related field is a plus.

Ability to read and understand documents and procedures in English.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited direction exists.

Excellent communication skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, organize, and prioritize workload, excellent internal customer service skills.

Standing on one’s feet for long periods of time, walking, and lifting. The employee is regularly required to sit/stand, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is required to lift to up 75lbs on a daily basis. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. Slips, trips, and falls;
Cuts, lacerations, pinches;

Flying debris;
Kickbacks from machines. All safety gear must be properly worn, and all safety rules must be followed to assist in avoiding the above potential injuries. Failure to comply will result in disciplinary action.
