• Lead warehouse staff to maintain efficient and productive workflow.
• Train receiving and processing crew members.
• Receive and locate inbound freight in the warehouse.
• Create purchase orders and receive products in inventory management software.
• Manage picking, which requires lifting heavy boxes and climbing ladders at times.
• Manage Quality Control Station by matching picked products with orders, validating, and prepping for packing stations.
• Manage Bulk Shipping Station by quality controlling all bulk orders, prepping products for bulk packing stations, and printing shipping labels for bulk processor.
• Pack boxes using good judgment and guidelines to protect products efficiently and cost effectively.
• Use software to weigh packages and print shipping labels; optimize shipping options to meet customer expectations and delivery promises. Communicate cost concerns to sales when costs are excessive.
• Keep the shipping processing line moving efficiently.
• Oversee receiving, inspecting, and processing of returns.
• Work six days per week during the in-season period.

• Experience using various SaaS systems preferred.
• Amazon, Walmart and/or other ecommerce experience is a plus.

• Mathematical and analytical skills.
• Self-starter with time-management and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• PC computer skills, Microsoft Windows, Outlook and Excel (Advanced Excel a plus).
• Ability to work without constant supervision.

Drivers require a driver’s license.

The work environment is generally an indoor controlled warehouse environment. Noise level is moderate (office machines and light traffic). This position is in a shared office. Overtime and weekend work may be required during the department’s in-season time period. May be asked to drive a company vehicle to other locations.

Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours. Activities include standing, walking, reaching, pulling, climbing, bending, and lifting. Expect to lift up to 25 lbs regularly. Activities also include continuous computer work, package and box management, and other warehouse tasks.
