Perishable Order Selector

Ingles Markets is looking for an Order Selector in the Perishables Department for its Distribution Center located in Black Mountain, NC.

• Select and fill grocery orders from stores.
• Ensure all items are properly and securely stacked on pallets.
• Drop off completed pallets on the loading docks for shipment.

• Pay starting at $20.20/hr.
• Multiple shifts - shift differential may apply.

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Will conduct a Criminal Background Check.
• Must pass an E-Verify Screening.

• Perishables department temperature ranges from 28-50 degrees.
• Extensive standing.
• Constant lifting of cases to be placed on pallets with some heavier cases weighing up to 75lbs.

• Will train the right candidate.
• Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must want to work and have excellent attendance.
• Must be willing to learn and pay attention to detail.
• Medical, dental, vision, and disability after 90 days (FT).
