Electrician; Industrial Maintenance

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full-time Electrician specializing in Industrial Maintenance to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, industrial machinery, and maintenance procedures. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial facilities and equipment.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems in machinery and control systems
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and production teams
• Respond to emergency situations and perform repairs as needed
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and installations
• Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Journeyman Electrician certification
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory, codes, and safety practices
• Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and motor controls
• Familiarity with various types of industrial machinery and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations

• Associate's degree in Electrical Technology or related field
• Additional certifications (e.g., Master Electrician, NFPA 70E)
• Experience with energy management systems and efficiency improvements
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety procedures
• Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques and technologies

Candidates should be proficient in the following areas:

• Electrician: Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, control circuits, and wiring. Ability to install, maintain, and repair various electrical components and equipment.
• Industrial Maintenance: Experience in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery, equipment, and systems. Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and troubleshooting techniques.
• Machines: Familiarity with a wide range of industrial machines, including motors, generators, conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and automated production lines.
