Job Description Summary
The Loader is responsible for efficiently and accurately loading outbound freight, ensuring all pallets, cartons, and materials are handled safely and according to company standards. This role supports daily shipping operations by verifying product counts, inspecting pallet quality, and securing freight to prevent damage during transit. The Loader works closely with dock coordinators, forklift operators, and shipping team members to maintain a smooth and organized dock environment.
This position requires strong attention to detail, consistent adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work in a fast paced, physically demanding environment.

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate loading and unloading of products within the distribution center.
Job Responsibilities:(Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)
- Load and off-load inbound and outbound shipments utilizing the WMS.
- Report discrepancies between the inventory count and shipping/receiving documents.
- Ensure every effort is made to load/off-load pallets in a manner that promotes safety and impedes damage.
- Locates and retrieves products as well as replenishes picking locations.
- Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions. Assist as required. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation.
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
- 1 year of relevant experience, required in lieu of High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience with multiple types of MHE—Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counterbalance (slip and clamp), and Dock Stocker, preferred.
- Knowledge and
Skills: - Ability to obtain a forklift certification.
- Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
- Required to operate MHE and use an RF scanner.
- Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
- General distribution knowledge.
- Proficient in the use of a PC.
- Strong initiative and drive for results.

While performing this job, the associate is regularly exposed to episodes of walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, crouching, reaching, pushing/pulling, grasping, hearing, twisting, lifting, frequent use of hand to finger, handle, feel, pick or type which can include repetitive motion of the wrists, hands or fingers.
The associate may occasionally be required to climb. The job may require lifting over 50lbs in some areas but not all. Associate must have normal field of vision corrected to 20/40 in each eye and must have hearing sufficient to safely operate MHE [Material Handling Equipment] in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
The noise level is moderate to loud. There will almost always be exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment, exposure to precarious situations and potential temperature excursions. Occasionally the position will have exposure to fumes/airborne particles.
